I’m MixedByLewis (Lewis Kelly), a mixing and mastering engineer based in Nottingham, England. I’ve been doing this professionally since 2022.

Working across a variety of genres, I enjoy the different puzzles each one presents.

Records should unfold with intention — closer to cinema than utility. The way scene changes conduct an emotional arc, or how colour and grain quietly sculpt temperature have shaped how I approach structure and pacing. I use automation, contrast, and tone guide the listener’s focus as a track moves forward, shifting the spotlight across the right things at the right time.

I work entirely in the box, using industry-standard tools I trust. To me though, the results matter far more than the equipment used to get there.
